This position supports the Captain and Servers. Good communication skills & memory is needed to work this social job with demanding guests. Supportive of team members. Catering to guests needs requires a good attitude & stamina to be on your feet for long hours. Efficiency, cleanliness is also a must.

duties and responsibilities

    • Work under Captain and his command
    • Run food and drinks to guests
    • Bus dirty dishes, glasses, silverware back to washing area
    • Pre set dining room, service stations, clean glasses, silverware and all else to prepare for dinner service
    • Listen to guests requests and help them  order a well balanced meal & make dessert suggestions
    • Wine pairing & cocktail suggestions for guests
    • Promote special dishes from  the chef
    • Report guest, kitchen or bar problems to Guest Relations & Bar & Restaurant  Manager
    • Follow checklists for opening & closing duties
    • Memorization of all house pour wines, sparkling by the glass, cocktails, beer & soft drinks
    • Restock & replenish dining room inventory & supplies
    • Comply with all food & beverage regulations
    • Pursue check average suggestions
